re-writing, re-newing, re-viewing

“Whatever you are doing,
in this moment.
Stop.
See the wonderment  –
Your fingers
bashing
on a keyboard, perhaps
words being printed
on a screen,
your eyes
taking in thoughts
that have become letters
that have become words
that will become the story of your day …
every moment
carries the potential
to tell
a different version
of
a
very
old
story.”

  1. and everyone has a story to tell no matter how insignificant that story may be to that individual. Our writing is a reflection of who we are and what we are thinking – just like our art – a mirror into our heart, mind and soul. Don’t be afraid to tell your story. Write it down. Paint it – photograph it – sculpt it or dance it – our stories add to the fabric of the human condition and is what we all have in common even if we don’t want to admit it. K

  2. What a marvelous poem…loved the way you talked directly to the reader…enjoyed it very much.

  3. Love this poem – it is so important to stop every now and then and take stock of the world around us…and actually appreciate things. Life is the same for so many of us…that sometimes appreciating the small things is what makes the difference.

This reminds me of two of my poems ‘Time Out’ and ‘Release Your Dreams’ – please take a look if you have the time.

    Thanks, Chloe 😀 xx
