I have blogger’s block!
We all get that from time to time…your muse may just be on a long coffee break…peace be with you!
“Writing is 90 percent procrastination: reading magazines, eating cereal out of the box, watching infomercials. It’s a matter of doing everything you can to avoid writing, until it is about four in the morning and you reach the point where you have to write.”
“Find a quite place and just sit, listen to the silence, breathe, take out your journal and the words will eventually come if you give yourself permission to tell that story that is screaming to get out.
Dear Martin and Patrick , thanks SO much!
Love getting your wonderful posts.
I am writing prolifically everywhere else – work, journal, computer, scraps of paper…just suffering from FBE (fear of blogger exposure).
it’s just that something happened last year that gave me the sense that it wasn’t a safe space anymore (this of course could be a sort of cyber delusion 🙂
But do you ever get a sense of fear when you send your words out into the abyss of what is to become of them or do you joyously have no attachment and set them free like i once did?
Everytime i write something for my blog these days i just save it to draft, can’t click that publish button.
i think i may have uncovered a whole new sort of cyber neurosis for the DSM IV books 🙂 lol
am just grateful that the two of you haven’t been beset with it, so that i still get to be blessed with your words. thanks for writing xx
And ps. it was really much easier to write as comment than as post.
love, and hope to be back soon clicking publish
I look forward to the day that you hit Publish! 🙂
Thanks Angel , click click click 🙂 x
I’m just happy to hear you are alive. I was concerned that those trees had engulfed you 🙂
Lol thanks so much. the trees were indeed enticing me to stay 🙂
