About

I am on a journey of discovery. About myself, about people, about food, and diets, love and hate, sadness and grief, joy and bliss.

I’m surfing this keleidoscope of life, and sometimes i get dumped but it’s when i am riding the crest of the wave, life’s water on my brow, the sun above me and people i love around me, that i understand that falling is part of it all.

These are the stories of being human, of the pain, and the bliss, and of the search to find meaning to it all – and the many roads and diversions one takes to find the answer

I am a writer and editor, and give workshops on writing, healing and creating. Should you see anything you would like to use, please drop me a line, I would be honoured to help you.

In the meantime, kick back and enjoy, and if you’d like, leave a comment.

thanks for visiting.

  2. Hi

Thanks for your kind words on my blog post about my parents. I am interested in writing something for the magazine, it would probably be quite different tho because if they were to have their photo in print they would of course want to read the article and the one I wrote was pretty personal.

If you would still like me to write something short for the magazine let me know and I would be honoured to do so.

    Thanks again

I am so glad i stumbled upon your post on your parents and I am so glad that you were able to be part of the magazine article.
What a poignant piece you wrote for us.
    Thank you

  4. Hi,
Thanks for your post on my blog–The Practice of Creativity. I really like your voice and the pieces that you are sharing. I consider myself more of a budding novelist, so I only do an occasional poem or two. But, in the last few months I have gotten more interested in the genre. Let’s stay in touch!
    Best,
    Michele

  6. I have been gone from blogland for a long time and truth be told, I am not sure if I am back to stay. But there were words that wanted out, and they led me to find yours (again). So much has passed, and for all that there are tears and smiles alike. For now, simply know I am grateful to be “met” by a familiar voice upon my return. I am so very glad you are still here. Please, keep writing.

  7. Viv, don’t have your email – please send. Sent out a redo of my last response to you to Wordwarrior, but don’t know if you got it. WordPress ate my first larger one . . can put here now and you can delete at will:
Have to get back to the kitchen – in the middle of stuff. But am sending you a link to Dr Eric Berg, someone I found online some months back, love him – my kind of guy. Think of him as a hero. He has this 100+ questionnaire he devised for people to fill out for FREE to learn what their body type is according to which Gland seems to be dominant (per our answers to the questions) His program analyses, > sorts >prints out the findings . .(be sure to ask for the recommendation to correct whatever problems there are) when you ask for the printout. And also, to answer truthfully — no one reads this or sees it or judges, etc., – its supposed to be a reflection of your body’s experience from beginning to end

This is such a big help to have all these variables organized into understandable chunks and its relevance to OUR OWN BODY. We are able to see and understand and figure out which path we need to take . . per our body’s needs. Have never seen any doctor, clinic or group anywhere giving away such service free. He seems to have a huge following with others globally. He may have 1 or 2 thousand mini-videos up on almost any subject you can name.. Just put his name in browser and Migraines or constipation. .whatever. He has products to sell which is to be expected. . they look quite excellent, but I make all my own everything so haven’t bought anything from him. . .but I plan to one of these days.

So watch these two links I’ve brought to you. . see what you think – – how you feel about what you heard. Don’t know what your test answers will reveal. Whether you are in trouble,. . have pain?. . . or the docs really do see something which can’t be ignored – I dunno. My eyeballs aren’t long enough. It is my understanding that ovarian cysts often resolve on their own- just go away. Will yours? dunno! Can only say my preference would be alternative, progressive, not allopathic. So I am hoping for natural healing methods that can heal – – all things considered.

It’s a huge burden, and i can’t lighten your load Viv,. . suppose you could search for Orthomolecular (natural healing methods) medicine doctors there where you live? My heart and thoughts are with you dear one. . . be at peace, seek better feeling thoughts and go with that. love you Jan
